Dear chess friends, on behalf of the Teplice Chess Club, allow me to invite you to the 19th annual International chess tournament TEPLICE OPEN 2026. This international chess event will take place in the oldest spa town in Central Europe, Teplice.m lázeňském městě. This international chess event will take place in the oldest spa town in Central Europe, Teplice. Every year, players from all over the world come to our city. Last year, we welcomed more than 270 players from 37 countries around the world.  

Every year, as organizers, we see increasing interest in the International chess tournament TEPLICE OPEN. This year too, the tournament will be divided into several performance categories, and each player will be able to find a suitable category. Last year, we were the first in the Czech Republic to test electronic scorers with the CLONO system. This test was excellent, and therefore this year players can look forward to the full-fledged use of electronic scorers on leading chessboards in each group. Come and try this new product supported by the International Chess Federation FIDE. Let me also thank, on behalf of the organizer Teplice Chess Club, everyone who supports this important international chess event in our city. Among the most important are the Ústí nad Labem Region, the Statutory City of Teplice, Showdown Display and Breno. Of course, thanks go to all the partners without whom this event would not be possible. Thank you !
